Open access (OA) refers to online, digital and freely available information. Open access academic literature is free and often involves less restrictive copyright and licensing barriers than traditionally published works, for both users and authors.

Creative Commons Licenses
The works published by Ledizioni can be distributed freely and free of charge by applying a Creative Commons license to them. The default license is the less permissive "Attribution-Noncommercial-No Derivative Works 4.0 International", although we can evaluate other types of licenses, more permissive and completely adhering to the principles of Open Access. Even in this respect we always try to meet your needs!
We are on DOAB
Our Open Access monographs are available on DOAB (Directory of Open Access Books), a dissemination platform whose main purpose is to increase the visibility of books (on academic topics and subjected to peer review) published in Open Access. All metadata is available under the CC0 1.0 license from the site itself.
We arer on OpenEdition
The same titles are also available on OpenEdition, an international platform dedicated to promoting research in the Humanities and Social Sciences and managed by the Center for Open Electronic Publishing (which includes Center National de la Recherche Scientifique, Université d'Aix-Marseille, École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales and Université d'Avignon et des Pays de Vaucluse).
