Irene Orlandazzi recently completed her PhD at the University of Milan, with a thesis linking German literature and neuroscience through the theme of emotions. Her main research interests, developed from her studies at the University of Parma, focus on the transdisciplinary field of Neurohumanities, 18th century German literature, literary anthropology, neurohermeneutics and text reception studies, with particular attention to the genre of intimate and autobiographical writing.
