Roberto Rocci is a full professor in Statistics in the Department of Statistical Science at Sapienza University of Rome, where he received his PhD in methodological Statistics. He published several papers on unsupervised learning methods with particular emphasis on model based clustering and dimensionality reduction. He has been the General Secretary of the Italian Statistical Society (SIS) and the President of the Classification and Data Analysis Group (CLADAG) of the Italian Statistical Society.
