Tommaso Urselli was born in Taranto, Italy and lives in Milan. Among his plays: Un vecchio gioco (An Old Game), commissioned by Compagnia Scena Nuda, 2015/2016 season; with Luca Fiorino, Filippo Gessi, Teresa Timpano; directed by Filippo Gessi; a Scena Nuda production. Mai nate (Never born), 2015/2016 season, with Elisa Canfora and Francesca Perilli, directed by Paola Manfredi, Teatro Periferico production. Boccaperta (Mouth Wide Open), commissioned for the 2014/2015 season by Teatro Periferico, with Dario Villa, directed by Paola Manfredi. Amongst his plays in the 2011-2012 season, he was commissioned to write Ipazia. La nota più alta (Ipazia. The Highest Note) by Pacta dei Teatri, for the project DonneTeatroDiritti – Scienza in Scena (WomenTheatreRights – Sciences on stage), performed by Maria Eugenia D’Aquino, directed by Valentina Colorni, music by Maurizio Pisati, scenes by Andrea Ricci.
